Love for the Strings

For old time’s sake

The string rusted with shine

For gold time’s sake

My heart sings divine

The uplifting breeze

The moments filled with grandeur

For old time’s sake,

The strings gets blurred

With moments vivid and hazy

Moments broken, some mended and cured

The reverberation

The everlasting echo

For old time’s sake, I pluck the string,

Like a stream of water

Like those awakening wings

My heart lifts of sadness

Old smiles it brings

For  bronze time’s sake

The melody clings

To the rustic aridness of the pains of life

And then the many strings

Strung together

Like a weave of life

Play a broken tune

To live and to strive

For the sake of colors

For the sake of my eyes

A sun shines bright

In the fields of a land so old

The rays warm the strings

The love reaches my soul

Oh! strings you are life

As much as you are old!

P.S: The constant guitar in Mumford and Sons' songs inspired me to write this. Have always loved acoustic guitar and the aliveness it brings. Ah! Finally found the music I was in search for!

Greatful for: A Platter Full of Music

I’m glad today for having watched the most musically touching movie ever….presenting August Rush.

Ah! It’s more than a rush. It’s not an adrenalin rush. It’s a rush of the soul, for the soul.

It’s not love, it’s passion for the notes of the music. For as the kid who plays August Rush in the movie says to the question “Do you like music?”  And he replays politely “More than food”.

Café’ Coffee Day tells us “A lot can happen over a cup of Coffee” and well, this movie tells us “Music alone has the power to bring people together”.

For a person who loves instrumental, the charms of an acoustic guitar, the beat of a violin, the accent of Irish men, the beauty of a fast symphony, and yeah served to you with dollops of the subtle romance too, not clichéd , but musically sound~ this is the movie for youJ

It makes you fall in love~ again, with one thing in this world, and thank great musicians for that….Yes it’s MUSICJ

What if…Repeat Mode?

This heart sure has its reasons to live,

To live, to love, and then to survive,

Amidst elation, breakups, deep gorges and high tides,

And as the reel runs,

The music that flows,

Melodies of  trance,

Of manic and depressive mode,

The flute plays all through,

Sometimes too invisible to hear,

And just when the vibes comes closer,

The songs play on a repeat mode!

The songs of the past forlorn,

Of that never meant to happen,

But that which eventually does,

The song too close to the heart,

It plays and aches and plays again,

And just when it plays on a different scale,

The pianist, insecure, changes her sail,

Onto a different route,

Not too distant from where it meant,

A li’l near to feel secure,

But the past song plays aloud hidden…..
