Haiku Hello

A quick hello since I ve been missing from blogosphere for a while. Married life has been busy in it’s own sweet ways. I visited Krabi, Thailand three weeks back and it was beautiful (  A travel post should be up soon). For now, re- connecting to my love for writing Haiku. Linking up at Haiku horizons after what’s called eternity…

The fluidity of time
Fast, slow at times benign

Brushed

The cheeks brushed against
Those salty drops; storms blazing
Inside made a wreck

The eyes slept with night
Sun peeking at lashes
Drying night’s remains

Linking up at haiku horizon:) So glad to be back

A haiku everyday: Motley

Hello everybody, hope you are doing well?

word of the day: Motley (adjective, noun). Meaning: incongruously varied in appearance or character; disparate

Synonyms: varied, eclectic, miscellaneous

Every day I see
A motley of emotions
Dancing inside me

A haiku for everyday

Learning new words have always been interesting for me.. Ever listened carefully to the sound every word makes. Some sound smooth, swift, others sound harsh and crude.

Word for today: Bilk ( verb) : Meaning : obtain or withhold money from someone by deceit or without justification ; cheat or fraud

They continue to
Bilk our heard earned money; and waste
It in open drain

DE-(AT)TACHING

Hello Dear Vanilla People:)

Hope you are well. The weather here in Bangalore today is a real treat. With heavens pouring since yesterday and the cool breeze kissing your skin, the nature only makes you feel more loved.

Here's my Haiku :

This time I de-attach
From the sorrows fears and
Free myself in sky

Few more days and I'll be done with this course:)

Wish you a happy week ahead

Refuge

To those who find a comfort in the words at this space and to those who have never been here too,

Hi.

Life away from home has indeed been a gift in these one and a half years. It's not been less than a rollercoaster or a tornado. There have been subtle highs and deep lows, the kinds where you don't see any light and your 'troublesome' thoughts take a toll on you to the extent that begin to question the 'meaning in life'. Nonetheless the light seeped through the tunnel and caught the girl who was willing to fight!

Hoping and wishing you all very well Vanilla lovers. How have you been?:)

I'm back with a haiku at haiku horizons....Ah! poetry I missed you...and words I was yearning to hug you...come here you two!:)

Refuge
In love I found you
In you I found refuge; the
Light to my tunnel

Love Tunnel ,Ukraine. A beauty, ain't it?:)

Simple pleasures of life

A few haiku on that, just on the goooooo....

Pleasure is a smile
Shared with a stranger on
A usual dull day

Pleasure is thinking
Fondly of the memories
We made together

Happy Weekend, Happy April:)

Pearls

Pearls
Those transparent pearls
Which trickled the soft cheeks, feel
Precious but wasted

He gifts me some pearls
Of wisdom each day, listen
Says my ear to smile

This song ( Man mast magan from Two States) inspired some words too...

Particles of Dust~ Sand

Been a long while here...A way to be back....A haiku per day:) The beauty of a haiku is that some times when you have so much to say. the brevity just doesn't justify. On the other hand, at times, when you have so less to say, the brevity just feels so right! Isn't it?

If only I could
Slip away as you; knowing
Not past or future

Be as you Please:)

Silence

Apology from
Me to thee, for I know not
What silence means to you

P.S: The above lines are supposed to be a haiku, just that one syllable was added.

Its never too 'late'

Linking up at haiku heights  at the prompt 'late'

Late

It’s never too late dear
To call up those you truly loved
Wait dried fresh green leaves

She felt it was too
Late; to fall in love, her age
Inside never gave up

Chivalry

Chivalry

Left a comfort zone
Jumped in fire, knowing not the heat
It burns but is warm

What's in a Stone?

Its good to stay in touch with words. Words love being touched, felt, expressed, written and most importantly being read…. For the prompt Stone at haikuheights…here is what I have to say:

Year after year I
Melted my candle of love
Received not one glance

That rock which lies there
Is not just a stone; it speaks
Of  journeys untold

Change

CHANGE

All change is for good

He said, I tried to believe

With tears that came by

Amidst the chilly days

A grey painted all over

Hope and sun hiding
One day as I wept

The tears that melted the snow

Spring smiled at my door
