Greatful ......yet again..

Greatful ......yet again..

It’s been a long time since I was greatful. In a quick go….
·       To my dear Sir again, who was my foundation and my sole strength for my dissertation.
·       To my darling friend Vrinda, a girl I have never met, yet met for ever. For her lovely surprise and heart warming love and wishes.
·       To my teacher from Undergrad whom I always reach back to, for good news’s which I share and for every step I walk up in the ladder of my life.
·       To my two wonderful years of Masters. The hair pulling, the tears, the cribbing, the panic attacks were all worthwhile. I proudly say today “It was a risky, but the best decision of my life”. Yup, I’m a postgraduate now!
·       To happiness: for showing me her beauty, smiles, love and sparkly eyes. Happiness is me. Me is happiness.
·       To days at park spent walking: Ah! The sites make me smile. A dad with his little daughter or two kids chasing each other or boys playing football or elderly talking to each other.
·       To meditation: For reaching to me, and making me in turn reach to my inner self.

And to my blog, for always being so loving, even as I come back to it, now, not so often.

And Maxabella...from where this tradition of greatfulness began..:)
Happy weekend!

Greatful to..Postcrossing

Its been more than a month since I began Postcrossing and I have to say it's a delight getting to know people in addition to little fun facts about their country and them. The myriad of hand writings, stamps and the love that goes in selecting a postcard for a postcrosser whom you have never met is inexplicable. Of all that I know its a beautiful sweet gesture on one postcrosser's part to make a random postcrosser happy:)

Sharing with you some of my postcards.....
My very first postcard

This postcrosser from Sweden very kindly thought of sending me an Eiffel Tower which
was on my 'wish' list. Yet I think why from Sweden:P

A lovely, chirpy postcrosser from Georgia, USA, Beth. She was
contacted through direct swap and wrote back to me the next day:)
The following ones are some of the postcards received by some special people ( not postcrossers). I deeply cherish these ones:) -

Matterhorn Mountain Peak, Lying at the Swizz-Italy Border,
one of the highest peak in Alps

If this is how beautiful Switzerland is in a postcard,
I imagine how it would be for real:)

I wholeheartedly cherish this one sent to me by my brother
from USHUAIA, World's Southern Most city in Argentina

This was given to me by a sweet junior who went to Paris with her dad
Some of the postcards I sent across:
An Elephant decorated in Jaipur during the Elephant Festival
that is celebrated in the month of March with Holi

Lord Krishna with gopis: Vastrharan

This one is a mughal painting which has been re-painted
to its utmost detail
Need I say more, my love for postcrossing? ;)

Happy Weekend

Greatful for.. sweet things

It takes a lot of courage and hope to be greatful at the moment. But yes, I will not give up. Hope tries to burn in the wood in which flame is trying best to keep itself alive.

Warmth….Yes, I need loads of that.
Love and Hugs: That too
Motivation: Bags full of it
This week I’m greatful for:
·         My happy yesterday
·         My best friend, who lets me know its time I start acting like an adult!
·         My supervisors who trust me more than I myself do, for my research. I hope I can make myself proud
·         My dear friends who have been pulling me up
·         Rain: For making me write one of the best piece that is close to my heart. If you wish to read. It’s here
·         My mom: Who has been managing household chores in the absence of a maid. She has been doing a lot!
To freedom: May you beckon me soon :)

Hoping the coming week is a rocking one!
Happy Weekend everyone!

Greatful for.....

I’m GREATFUL FOR….

Copyright: Mudasir:)
Sigh…..
·        This week I’m greatful for Blogging.. for finding such amazing people out there on the blogosphere to interact, to chat and to have fun with. The kind of fun I have become addicted to over time, and I only wish to meet such wonderful bloggyfrnds of mine one day ...in REALJ
·
Greatful to fab photographers, one of them being Mudasir, whose pictures are splendid and spectacular.Ry, I love your pictures and all the many others who bring the frozen moments alive and speak not through their lips, not through their minds, but through their eyesJ Thank you for giving me reasons to smileJ
·
Greatful to The Dewarists, for making such a splendid composition of music in their song Kya Khayal Hai. An unusually unique song, indeed not heard any of this kind for long!  Kunal, I second you on thatJ
·
Thank you to Twish, for that beautiful convo we had that day, may we get to meet soon and may tumhari meri baatein hamesha yuhin chalti rahein…….:*( may our talks continue forever- for those of you not familiar, it’s a beautiful Bollywood song)
·
Lastly, forever greatful to you MaxyJ
And I love these words of yours…
But every week is an opportunity for someone to begin at one. Being grateful as a regular thing slows you down and makes you reflect on what's good in the past and the present, rather than always thinking about what's around the next corner. There is something in that. The past and present are full of memories and feelings, the future is full of maybes and perhaps.

Wishing you all sunshine smiles and sparkling eyes
Stay Blessed
Happy December!:)
