As Time walks by...

The clothes are done in the washing machine, waiting for me to open and be dried as if autumn was here. The vegetables lie packed in the fridge waiting to be chopped only to turn into something delicious. Ah! The pain of the knife. Don’t we all get a little chopped and scarred to turn into better versions of ourselves? The sitcoms on the laptop wait no more to be watched. In fact they know that the bored newly married girl shall reach out to them for escape. However, for now she resorted to her love; that which all began some 6 years back. Wow! Yarn of Words has come with age, hasn’t it? It keeps knitting something beautiful every now and then. It knows that people come by and read but it always cringes at the thought “Are they so busy not to leave a word here?” and then Ms. Owner thinks “Well, I’m busy with my life to visit other blogs, so….” The Yarn gets going to mind its own business.
There are times when we have a lot to keep ourselves occupied with, yet we crib and cry coz we just do not feel like walking upto it and owning ourselves to it. We simply keep waiting for the work or the task to come to us. Question: Does it ever come to us? NO! It never will! For instance, yesterday when I was struck by cold and feeling all low in the dungeons, I had to rise above that dreary state and tell myself “Wake up, you are not dying! It’s just a cold!” (as if it’s just a cold?!). Few minutes have passed since I shook myself up to change the state of my mind. Oh yeah, you see it was all gaseous awhile back and now it’s flowy and it feels much better   ( kindly bear as I rant)
I just started with a 100days of art challenge today where everyday I shall be giving myself some prompts to make some art. Today I picked up a random song, it was Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself (with lyrics). The challenge was to draw as I listened to the song. I think I did a good job with the colours and the symbols. Go ahead, listen and soak yourself with the art if you can!:)

P.S: I'm gearing up myself for some writing everyday
P.P.S: As I finish writing this post I recall some words by some one; it meant there are too many things to do in life to get bored. So..I'll skip...one.two...whoosh!

This world is Fascinating!

THIS WORLD IS FASCINATING

Ah!! I’m so overwhelmed, ecstatic, and spell bound, every single time I stumble upon such wonderful people who write wonderful blogs! And today as Risha awarded me with my very second blog award, I happened to go through a number of great blogs.
·       Recipes: let them keep pouring!
·       Poetry- An exquisite expression of a kind
·    And then some honest, straight from the heart talks- I truly appreciate them.

And as I talk about this blogging world, oodles of love pours into my own blog, as I look at it lovingly, just like a mother sees her new born baby, not believing that the gorgeous baby is hers..Yes my blog is my baby!
And just like me, there are perhaps millions out there who nurture their blog with all that their heart can give- love, purity, honesty, celebration and the list goes on…

A teacher of mine once told me “ How can you celebrate other’s happiness” .This comment of his came on my term paper write up. It amazed me as it did to him. But it wasn’t something that came as a surprise, You know why?? Because there is this part of me which feels great when I see people being and expressing their ‘true’ selves- and ‘living’ every bit of them and the moment!

So this post if for all the Vanilla people out there! I may not know you, but even as a stranger I’M PROUD OF YOU!:)

All about learning

IT’S ALL ABOUT LEARNING….

It was not until a few months back that  I  had  very different views about  what blogging was and what it really meant. . I would visit blogs., Food blogs and many others which I would like to follow, but I was merely a follower. Nothing was happening. No interaction between the person whom I was following and whose works I liked, until came my way these beautiful blogs. http://www.ahthepossibilities.com/, http://maxabellaloves.blogspot.com/, http://lifeinapinkfibro.blogspot.com. And I’m thankful to them for making my experience so enriching, for showing me the way to be a part of the 'parties' that would be arranged on the bloghops.

Blogging, unlike what I thought earlier is not about making money. I feel so good, of not thinking about money as I thought so earlier. I’m a learner, and that’s what I would like to admit. . I gave my application to Google Adsense few months back, and that too twice (precisely coz of my impatience) which got rejected. And honestly, I don’t even care now. I really don’t..
For me, blogging now is a means to share with people what I really am. . And as Maxabella said in one of her posts, what’s the point of writing all fancy stuff in a blog, when it all seems fake?  We are not celebs, let’s accept it. . And I think the number of followers doesn’t indicate how famous you are. Perhaps it’s more than that. It tells us how willing someone is to know us, and that we are valued in some or the other ways. And yes, knowing that helps me grow and learn better…

That’s all for today!
