An Ode to Love……..

A dewdrop, a mist,

A tinkle of bell,

Those Tulips of Spring.

 

Playful eyes, and musical giggles,

The birds that fly,

Those dreams on wings.

Silence brimmed with affect,

Angry, empty and full,

Let the smiles fly,

To bring one from you within.

Oh! cupid, darling,

The darts you throw,

That stuck there for a lifetime,

Come strike some more,

For those waiting,

For a dose of love so divine!
