ECHO
Before you go ahead reading my lines....listen to the song attached, that's what inspired me to write this one.....
Life brings us down,
It pulls the end too hard,
And like a loose thread unwound,
It crushes, crumples the woven piece….altogether…..
The body wears with age,
And so does the mind loses its attention,
A blur, A haze, dizziness so bizarre……..
The greys, the blacks, the darkness…..
And then the echo calls us back,
To love, to live to shout,
To breathe with our full lungs……
The unknown people become sweet strangers,
Passing by our knowables,
Living through our words,
Knowing our dreamy world,
And on the edge, I know my reality,
That which is alike yet away from what I show,
And then my eyes glisten in the shine,
Looking beyond the ocean, too far and wide,
Not knowing how to swim,
Not knowing the undersea world,
I dive, fighting all the odds……..struggling to be ALIVE…….
The dolphins join the dance,
The turtles play with bubbles,
And my life is lived befriending …….. my ECHO.
