What if…Repeat Mode?

What ifRepeat Mode?

This heart sure has its reasons to live,
To live, to love, and then to survive,
Amidst elation, breakups, deep gorges and high tides,
And as the reel runs,
The music that flows,
Melodies of  trance,
Of manic and depressive mode,
The flute plays all through,
Sometimes too invisible to hear,
And just when the vibes comes closer,
The songs play on a repeat mode!
The songs of the past forlorn,
Of that never meant to happen,
But that which eventually does,
The song too close to the heart,
It plays and aches and plays again,
And just when it plays on a different scale,
The pianist, insecure, changes her sail,
Onto a different route,
Not too distant from where it meant,
A li’l near to feel secure,
But the past song plays aloud hidden…..

This is fantastic and so beautifully penned, Aakriti! Profound yet something we can all relate to in the journey of our lives. Loved it! Beautiful presentation as well ~ perfect image! Your blog template is so beautiful. I have an affinity for parchment and calligraphy :)

**The song too close to the heart,
It plays and aches and plays again,
And just when it plays on a different scale,
The pianist, insecure, changes her sail,
Exemplary. Your pieces are exemplary, some of them. This one reminded me of Sand and Foam by Gibran.

Long time..since you wrote like this.. :)
The exams and assignments were keeping you busy and now, since you have time, you come up with this mesmerizing work combining fusing heart and music into life.

I would say, I like the complete last few lines...

The flute plays all through,
Sometimes too invisible to hear,
And just when the vibes comes closer,
The songs play on a repeat mode!
The songs of the past forlorn,
Of that never meant to happen,
But that which eventually does,
The song too close to the heart,
It plays and aches and plays again,
And just when it plays on a different scale,
The pianist, insecure, changes her sail,
Onto a different route,
Not too distant from where it meant,
A li’l near to feel secure,
But the past song plays aloud hidden…..

There is a amazing flow and they combine different elements together beautifully :)

Enjoy the holidays. :)
