Lying deep guarded by values,
Hidden from the eyes of reality,
Trying to find it’s way stealthily,
It overthrows the ‘real’ callously!
It appears to be omniscient,
For it knows not what is true,
The heart bereaved of its purity,
Tries to bear its sordidness.
The heart and the mind wish to absolve,
If only the ‘wrong’ they did could be dissolved,
In the vast oceans of clarity,
Leading to genuineness defeating artificiality!
My heart is more real than I know,
As ‘fakeness’ tries to reside,
Telling me its conquered many hearts,
And manipulated many lives!
All this while I believed,
I’m as pure as 24 c Gold,
And now I’m left to wonder,
If the newness hides the old (me)?
A world I see, in the present,
Where the ‘fakivity’ has a Rule,
The masters and the slaves as well,
Have become fake, thinking its cool!
And there on the path, like beggars,
‘Real’ emotions are left to cry,
No takers, for the ‘thing’ of past,
Malnourished, they may soon die!
People turning into machines,
For even robots might seem ‘real’ to me,
Blinded by the ‘real’ artificiality,
As they progress towards a calamity!
As long as I live here,
For this ‘ fakivity’ I have a real fear,
I’m honest enough to hold you up,
Your birth shall soon be your death, My dear!
